Though economically Ireland has recovered to an unprecedented degree, the country is in practice still experiencing fallout from the financial crisis some ten years ago.

Constant regulatory changes at the EU level and in individual Member States such as Ireland continue to weigh on the Financial Services industry.

Vulcan have been working for clients on critical primary legislation such as MiFiD II and Solvency II. We have, through this work, developed an in-depth understanding of the political and policy making environment that influences the European regulatory framework.  Vulcan works on early stage policy engagement right through to regulatory compliance across insurance, banking, asset management and fin-tech.

Additionally, Vulcan engage in political risk monitoring on behalf of financial institutions across the EU and, last, but not least, in the consequences of Brexit.
